Manufacturing Processes
Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM)
With over 50 machines in our portfolio we have the capability to support nearly every EBM project you may have. Our bottom blow technology enables us to run recessed and multiple finishes in a variety of container sizes. Ranging from 2.5 liter to 25 gallon we can support your business. Our standard EBM machines can run containers from 2 oz all the way up to 3 gallon. Handle ware is our specialty. Quantities as low as 100,000 pieces per year will fit into our system of support. We have recently introduced our modular mold change system which enables you to build family molds for a greatly reduced capital costs. This technology is available for handle ware, standard cylinders, ovals and canisters as well as most custom shapes and sizes. We run a variety of polyolephin materials from HDPE, Polypropylene, blends of materials and developmental materials.
Injection Molding (IM) –
Injection molding is another core competency for Priority Plastics. We focus on specialized customer needs and believe that providing services for the nontraditional and unique product markets serve our customers well. We specialize in large closing systems to support our vast canister lines and custom molding in a variety of markets including personal care, household, chemical, healthcare and industrial. This is an expanding market that we will continue to support with new machines and capabilities.
Stretch Blow Molding (SBM)
Our focus in this market is large ware canisters. Our unique product lines support our polyolephin canister product lines. We have the ability to run small quantities as well as large production runs. Two step reheat and blow is our preferred process and we will continue to grow and add capacity as our customer demands drive.
Injection Blow Molding (IBM)
This is our newest process introduction. We are aggressively expanding into this market with production capabilities in Portland, IN and Las Vegas, NV. Our unique approach to this market enables us to combine technical expertise, advanced molding equipment and state of the art automation to offer the market a fresh approach to servicing their needs. We can run containers from 2cc’s to 1 liter on our equipment. Production runs as low as 100,000 parts for custom bottles and a ship from stock approach through our distribution network for a vast stock packer product line give our customer’s flexibility in managing their supply needs. Last but not least we have streamlined our tool construction process to reduce lead times and lower tooling costs. Our system allows you to purchase IBM tools for a slight premium to EBM tools. Just think, IBM technology and capabilities for close to EBM tool costs.
Secondary Operations – Decoration and Closure Liners
We continue to grow our capabilities and capacity in sleeve labeling, pressure sensitive labeling, liner insertion and secondary assembly. This combined with our partnership with market leading silk screen processor enables us to provide you with a complete package. Container, closure, decoration and lining all in one stop. No matter the market we are here to service the customer.
Canister Wipe Towel Insertion and Product Fill Capabilities
Imagine a complete one stop shop for your wipe needs. We have the capability to produce a complete package for your wipes as well as slit, roll and insert the towels into your package. We can even take it a step further and fill your product into the package then ship to your distribution centers. A true one stop shop when it comes to towel wipes.
